About
One operator, and a log of what broke.
Borella Labs is personal adoption infrastructure for accelerating technology, run by one person. It exists because the hard part of adopting something new is not choosing it. It is knowing when to stop.
Why this exists.
Most advice about new technology is a recommendation with no exit. It tells you what to adopt and goes quiet about how to tell whether it worked, when to reverse it, and what the reversal costs. That gap is where the money and the time go.
The method is six stages with an exit from each one, and every adoption carries a kill date. Nothing is permanent by default, which is what makes adopting aggressively safe rather than reckless.
Everything published here is run first. The decision records are real decisions with the losing options still in them, and the failures get the same word count as the things that worked.
What this is not
Three things it refuses to be.
Not a newsletter about news
Method first, domains second, news never. If a piece could have been written by reading other newsletters, it does not get written.
Not a course
The method is free and ungated. What a membership buys is the accumulated edges and the versioning, which cannot be taught in advance because they are discovered.
Not an AI product
The skills run in your own environment against your own licence. Nothing here calls a model on your behalf, and nothing here needs to.
Where this is
Early, and saying so.
The site is new. There are no members yet, no published open rate, and no case studies from anyone but me. Those numbers appear here when they exist and not before — that is rule six of the voice this project holds itself to, and an about page is the easiest place to quietly break it.
